Wellness at Work - programmes
Introduction
Published articles and studies, often focusing on specific organizational or working environments, consistently recognize that workplace well-being is not a luxury and not addressing the need of it comes at a non-negligeable cost. Sick days cost UK companies over £103 billion in 2023 alone*. The array of incentives and perks, collectively termed "wellness programs," frequently falls short of achieving significant and measurable improvements in the targeted areas, and the expectation that organizations can figure out a universal solution to address all well-being challenges is unrealistic
The "Wellness at Work" programmes empowers individuals with practices that promote and enhance individual responsibility, awareness, and self-motivation: the ability to take ownership of well-being to make it the foundation of their daily life. The programmes provides individuals with tutorials for daily practices to enhance their ability to manage and balance their energy, and offers on-site interventions that reinforce the learning, promote opportunities for meaningful connection and for shared experiences that can nurture cohesion and team spirit, serving both the person and the collective."
"When individuals cultivate the capacity to regulate and manage their energy, both in quality and quantity, wellness emerges as a primary and prevailing state that cannot fail to impact familial and social environments, and the professional life.
WaW Program - Structure
"The program's structure is based on The HEMB Method™, a framework designed with busy adults in mind and at its core, the ways to balancing energy to ensure simplicity and efficiency in make wellness the foundation of daily life.
(Read more about The Hemb Method ...).
The program includes practices tailored to each participant and designed to cultivate mental clarity and physical energy for the day ahead (meditation, breathwork, and gentle energizing movements - or more comprehensive yoga routines). The energised and balanced state of body and mind created in the morming is supported throughout the day with mindful nutrition (meal suggestions are also provided).
The programmes also include guided relaxations and introduces participants to the practice of yin yoga, to help unwind and heal the body from many of the debilitating effects of accumulated stress.

Outcomes
The benefits from yoga are too many to list here. In my personal experience, the first benefits that I noticed when I started were a sensation of lightness, more freedom in my body, elevated emotions, better digestion and better sleep...
Numerous studies have established a connection between regular yoga practice and improvements in various brain functions (click hereto read study), including enhanced cognition, increased serotonin levels, melatonin secretion, and dopamine release (reducing anxiety, helping to find emotional balance and calm). Yoga has also been shown to support the immune system, improve psychological health, and strengthen social relationships.

Testimonials
I really like the programme and how you have set it out. The suggestions are achievable and short - this makes it easier for beginners to more self led practice to incorporate and see benefits from . Also great for busy people who may have some practice but fallen off the wagon - it’s a gentle reminder/ kickstarter. I really appreciate the adaption of the food suggestions to a vegan diet. The recipes are simple, no fancy ingredients ! I like that each recipe is simply written and doesnt give measurements - it gives room for instinctive cooking. At the end of the day before bedtime, I followed your breath work suggestions the - the 4,7,8 , it prepares me nicely for sleep dissolves any stress / fast mind that I have picked up during the day … also the reflection and gratitude are great ways to end the day - I plan to continue these .”Fiona S. - Accountant
