Wellness at Work - program
Introduction
Welcome to our Corporate Wellness Program —a modern approach designed to support individuals in their journey to facilitate effective and sustainable wellness in the working environment and beyond.
To establish a culture of wellness, the focus needs to shift from perks to practices that are woven into the workplace itself. This means creating a daily environment that fosters mental, physical, and emotional health right where employees spend most of their time. With a change in approach, corporate wellness can become a powerful tool for cultivating a healthier, happier, and more resilient workforce - every day, not just once in a while. Explore how we make that happen.

Underlying Principles
Modern concepts such as "The Compound Effect" (Darren Hardy – MLM leader) and "The 4 Stages of Mastery" are well-known principles in the world of personal development and modern coaching. Interestingly, these principles align closely with the essence and practice of yoga. The WaW program has been thoughtfully designed around the most empowering and therapeutic aspects of yoga to address fundamental wellbeing needs in the workplace. Its goal is to help individuals fulfill wellness requirements that are often overlooked by existing strategies and offerings.
The Compound Effect highlights the importance of consistent, goal-driven actions in achieving the desired state of body and mind. Similarly, the 4 Stages of Mastery emphasize how sustainability develops gradually, requiring less and less energy and effort over time. Both principles are rooted in the concept of neuroplasticity—the brain's ability to adapt and change. When yoga is viewed through this lens, wellness is no longer seen as just a "perk" but as a natural, ever-available, and expandable state of being.
Methodology
This program serves as a coaching framework, establishing the boundaries necessary for the group’s success while aligning with the outcomes individuals aim to achieve, and fostering a sense of accountability.
Yoga principles and techniques are utilized to steadily progress toward the achievement of these goals, one session at a time.
The method incorporates various breathwork techniques—the cornerstone of self-regulation—along with meditations, movements, and therapeutic rest. These practices are designed to maximize relaxation, going far beyond a simple shift in focus.
Outcomes
Numerous studies have established a connection between regular yoga practice and improvements in various brain functions, including enhanced cognition, increased serotonin levels, melatonin secretion, and dopamine release. Yoga has also been shown to support the immune system, improve psychological health, and strengthen social relationships.
For instance, a systematic review published in Brain Plasticity analyzed 11 studies examining the effects of yoga on brain structures and functions. The review found that yoga practice is associated with increased gray matter volume in brain regions involved in memory and emotional regulation, such as the hippocampus and amygdala. Additionally, functional MRI studies indicated enhanced connectivity in brain networks related to attention and self-awareness among yoga practitioners.

I’ve been doing yoga classes for a number of years and I have had a number of teachers in that time, but the reason I do Stephannes class is that I find it beneficial. We are all busy, but his instruction helps me to be present, to let go of the every day stuff, the things we all have got going on. It brings me back to me, to self-care, to transformation. Doing Stephane’s classes has helped gain perspective; this is why I’ve been turning up for over five years and I keep turning up.”Anthony Walker - Marketing Consultant and Founder
